Wetsuit

Wetsuit are very handy in cold weather situation. Special in water if you not know it, water cools 25 time faster than air. Your feet is the first that has contact with the water even when it’s on the kiteboard. All the small drops make together a lot of water over your feet.
For you notice your whole body is wet and cold and the only thing what you want is to go home. But when you on the middle of the lake it’s a long way back, you make another mistake and panic do the rest. We will see you next day on the front paper, you don’t want that happen. So a wetsuit is very nice to wear and when you want to be “the man” you wear it under your short and T-shirt. Nobody will see your wetsuit and you are “the man” on the kiteboard.

If you still not know it, the wetsuit is a safety / protection device for the cold water. But you can also use it as a starter in warm water, why?????? If you start from out the water your whole body is wet and the wind will cool you fast when the water is evaporate.
A wetsuit with a thickness of 3 mm is mostly good, you are active and will proceed heat and when your wetsuit is too thick you will over heat.

Kitesurfing is fun and not a punishment, so don’t think that if you use a wetsuit you are not a real kitesurfer. With a wetsuit you can stay longer on the water and train your self longer and when you drop in the water it don’t matter you.
A wetsuit give’s you also a protection when you hit the water, the neoprene absorbs the hit from the water also when it’s only 3 mm thick.

When you are a safe kitesurfer you will wear your wetsuit with proud and no one can stop you for waring it.

So for now, never forget your wetsuit.
